Use and application tips

ZeniPLAST is a hydrocolloid adhesive dressing. It is designed for a 5 to 7 day wear time to treat moist to dry wounds. The skin around the wound must be completely dry without any lotions or ointments for the adhesive to adhere properly. After application of ZeniPLAST, the dressing can be easily molded to the body contours by gently placing a warm hand over the dressing for about 30 seconds. When removing ZeniPLAST after 5-7 days, lift the corners of the dressing and gently pull the dressing lateral to the skin and away from the center of the dressing until the adhesive releases. The gel residue that ZeniPLAST forms over the wound as it absorbs drainage is normal and is easily removed when cleansing the wound.
