Use and application tips

ZeniFOAM Ag GENTLE is a silver impregnated, silicone faced foam dressing without a border used to provide absorption of moderate to heavy wound drainage. The silver, silicone faced foam is gentle, conformable and can be cut to size. The sticky side of the dressing is the silicone and should be placed facing the wound. Please note: Silicone is naturally sticky to the touch; however, when in contact with wound drainage, the silicone is non-adherent to the wound. Unlike traditional glue adhesives, ZeniFOAM Ag GENTLE is gentle and easy to remove from the skin around the wound. The colored backing on ZeniFOAM Ag GENTLE is waterproof to prevent drainage from striking through the dressing and to provide protection from external contaminates. ZeniFOAM Ag GENTLE does not have an adhesive border and must be secured in place with another dressing such as gauze or as directed by your medical provider. Replace ZeniFOAM Ag GENTLE when drainage is visible to the edge of the foam pad, if the dressing leaks, or as instructed by your medical provider.
